Add a solid link to your audio chain
Link is a chainable mixer for Eurorack format in 1U style. We designed this foundational module to provide high-fidelity audio mixing with a simple yet versatile interface.
Stereo or Mono
Versatility at your fingertips
– For mono sources, plug into L and leave R unconnected. Then use the Pan control to place your source in the stereo field.
– For stereo sources, plug your stereo source in L and R sockets. You still have use of the pan control to adjust the balance of the stereo sources.
– The Pan control has a sine/cosine characteristic, for natural panning.
Chainable
Choose the number of Links you need for your set-up
– Each unit handles 1 stereo input. Purchase only as many Links as you need for your set-up; and you can always buy more whenever you need.
– Link is presented in the convenient “utility” 1U format; for the more-typical 3U Eurorack format, checkout our Chain unit based on this technology.
– Independent volume control fade sources on a logarithmic scale from 0dB to -60dB.
Solid Sensible Design
Get’s out of your way, so your music production can be the star.
– Simple layout. Everything you need for mixing multiple audio sources and nothing you don’t need.
– This ethos is carried over to the electronic circuit design: the audio path is lean for negligible distortion; inputs have ESD and surge protection, low-impedance outputs are overload protected; beefy power-supply smoothing removes crosstalk between signal/clipping meters and the audio path.
– High-quality components used throughout. Same Sky jacks provide a snug no-wiggle fit and are rated for 5000 mating cycles. Texas Instruments audio op-amp OPA1679 provides high-fidelity sound quality.
– Two green LEDs provide input signal level indication for L and R channels. And two red LEDs provide clipping indication for output of each unit.
